What is Chalo Kahi Chale?+
A way to find people to do things with. Someone starts a small plan at a public place, like padel, chai, a quiz night or a weekend trek, and others join. It's for making friends, not for dating.
Is it free?+
Yes. The app is free. Any cost shown on a plan is an estimate of what you'll spend at the venue, paid directly to the venue. Chalo Kahi Chale takes nothing.
Do I pay through the app?+
No. The price on a plan is a rough idea of what each person will spend there. You pay the café, turf or venue yourself, or split the bill with the squad. Never send money to a host or anyone else because of a plan, and report anyone who asks.
Is this a dating app?+
No. Plans are for groups at public places. Using the app to pursue romantic or sexual contact goes against our community guidelines and can get your account removed.
Who can use it?+
Anyone 18 or older. We're live in major Indian cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Kochi.
How do I join a plan?+
Open a plan and tap "I'm in". Some hosts approve each person first; then you'll see "Ask to tag along" and the host will let you in or decline.
How do I start a plan?+
Sign in and tap "New vibe". Pick something to do, a public spot, a time and how many people. Your plan goes live for everyone straight away.
Who can see my details?+
Other people see your first name on plans you host or join. Who's going to a plan is visible only to the host and people on that plan. We never show your email, phone number or location. More in our
privacy policy.
Why can't I see who's going?+
To protect people's safety, the list is shown only to the host and people on the plan. Everyone else sees how many spots are filled.
What are the Sample plans?+
Examples that show how the app works while real plans fill up. Joining them is switched off.
Can I leave a plan?+
Yes, any time: open the plan or My lineup and tap "Can't make it". Hosts can cancel their plan for everyone.
How do I stay safe?+
Meet only at the public place in the plan, tell a friend where you're going, and leave if anything feels wrong. Read our
safety tips. In an emergency, call 112.
How do I report or block someone?+
Open the plan and tap "Report this plan" or "Block" at the bottom. Hosts can also block people asking to join. Reports are private, and plans reported by several people are hidden until we review them.
How do I delete my account?+
Open My lineup, scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account". It permanently removes your profile, plans, memberships and photos.
